Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo on the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actress director producer playwright educator and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to the play school and watching her mom work. Silk was a small model in a commercial. She earned a Bachelors in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto in her quest to act and advance, then after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Silk met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009 and were married in a civil ceremony that was held in December. The news was announced to fans of the series in the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to work. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of final season of production. CNN recognized Bo's performance with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular television couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Because of the show's popularity, Silk has garnered a prominent presence on social media.
